MAG's Quest is a small, retro-inspired HTML5 fangame built around the virtual pet mechanics of Phantasy Star Online. Take care of your Mag, raise its stats with authentic PSO feed logic, and step into classic Ragol areas to hunt and level up.

Features

  • Authentic Feeding Logic: Feed Monomates, Fluids, and Atomizers with original stat scaling.
  • Evolutions: Watch your Mag evolve based on its stats, level, and Class/Section ID.
  • Mini-Shooter Gameplay: Go hunting in the Forest, dodge Boomas, and gain Meseta.
  • VMU & Game Boy Style: Pixel graphics, 4-color palette, and custom VMU frame controls.
  • Save System: Keeps your Mag's progress directly in your browser.

    Controls

    Play using touch buttons on the VMU interface or via keyboard:

    • D-Pad / Arrow Keys: Navigation & Movement
    • A / Z Key: Confirm / Attack
    • B / X Key: Cancel / Back
    • Select / Shift Key: Pet Mag
    • Start / Enter Key: Start / Pause
